Each one includes a one-year guarantee and has been:

Please note: the product may have been previously used and may show signs of wear and tear. The product has been PAT and function tested and is in full working order. The product may have noticeable cosmetic marks and/or scratches and original packaging may have been replaced and/or show signs of transit or storage damage. We have added some frequently asked questions on our Refurbed by B&Q products.
Refurbished products are items that have been previously purchased which have been refurbished and tested to look and be in full working order. There are many reasons a product may be considered refurbished. Best case, it was simply returned without being opened, worst case, there was a fault that required repair and replacement.
Refurbed by B&Q products are up to 20% cheaper than our new versions, as well as supporting the idea of a circular economy and extending the life of products.
Refurbed by B&Q products have been purchased from and returned to B&Q. When an item has been returned, we will - where possible - refurbish the product so that it can be resold. These products are tested and cleaned so they work like new.
Should you need to return anything, your purchase is covered by our 90-day return policy. You can take your unwanted or faulty item(s) to your nearest B&Q store with proof of purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected.
You can return your item to a B&Q store with proof of purchase.
If a Refurbed by B&Q product is faulty and you purchased it more than 90 days ago, our aimis to get the problem put right as quickly as possible. We may offer a repair orreplacement of the item, or a partial refund or full refund.
The warranty on our refurbished products is one year. Please visit each product page for a more detailed description as the terms can be different for some products.
The refurbished products will come directly from our main warehouse where an approved appointed agent working on behalf of B&Q has refurbished these products.
All electrical products over £10 are PAT and function tested – if they pass these tests, they are suitable for refurbishment.
Refurbished items are currently only sold online and will be displayed with a ‘refurbished’ badge to clearly distinguish the difference between refurbished items and regular products.
Each refurbished product will be refurbished in a different way, but rest assured all our products are PAT and function tested, and cleaned. Some parts may have been recovered from other products – for example a battery, charger, or consumable parts such as a drill bit or sanding paper.
